Sweet Sixteen

While most people go to Disneyland for their Sweet Sixteen present, I got something a little different, but that couldn't make me happier. It happens that making handmade dresses takes too much time (something I don't usually have due to tones of daily homework), so having a sewing machine sounded like a dream.
Fortunately, that was a dream that could come true (differently from all my no-material dreams that seem not to be realized) and this weekend I found myself enjoying my present.
For the ones that thought it couldn't get better, as I got home friday night I had a dummy as another present waiting for me.
I have to thank my grandparents and my friend Ma for the amazing presents :]

Growing, Dressing, Noticing

It's weird to even think about it, but I'm starting to feel useless. While before I could notice my help was almost required for my family to dress up (not that they always followed my fashion advices), now I'm starting to loose space. Of course I still see some lame looks coming from the streets but from my family, I can't even complain.

What makes me more surprised is that my not-too-little sister has lately started dressing so cute. I am starting to be so proud of recognizing on her some personal style that I decided to post some clothes I've seen on her lately. And I have to admit seeing her cute girly looks at 6 am at morning is one of the reasons I get to smile on my way to school...

Another thing i've been noticing is my instant desire to photograph people I see on the streets, so one of the things I've been wishing is I could have a camera with me all the time, just to photograph this people with looks that really inspire me.
Unfortunately, I can't photograph anyone I see (at least without permission) so I make an effort to feel happy photographing people I know. My friends do have a pretty good taste on clothes and one of my new hobbies may be to photograph them...
this is the first look from a friend that I decided to photograph. thanks to Bru!

Wonder

I know. It's been a long time. It's not about not having enough things to post or not having enough time, it's just a transition my mind seems to be having.
I've been just thinking about everything, asking the world all the reasons we are here and everytime I was going to write something I asked myself: "Do I really feel like posting this? Is this what I wanna be?" and then I just stopped and could do nothing. I just wanted all that questions to get out my head.
No music, no drawings, no posts, nothing. I was tired of thinking.
But suddenly I realized I couldn't change what I wanted to. My school wouldn't stop giving me homework and tests, my hair wouldn't wake up nicer, my clothes wouldn't change suddenly and nice books wouldn't appear near my bed for me to read them. So slowly I started to realize if I wanted something I'd have to go and get it, and that's what I started doing.
For now I guess all I want is a little of peace, so I am just living, letting it be. I know it seems weird but I am trying to consider it a break of my life. After all, school is ending... ...and summer is coming...

This is how my house looks like. I just moved and the view from my bedroom is not very pleasing yet...

they just painted the wall of my little gray house, and now it's all painted in the same pastel color, like any other house. It's boring.

Funny Pasta

When I was told we were going to have pasta for dinner, I didn't think twice before asking for my usual salad, but as I sat on the table and realized how different that colorful foods was, I forgot about any possible kind of lettuce and became excited to help to cook the dinner.

It was about a lot of different shapes and colors of pasta, shaped like stars and eiffel towers. Of course the sauce covered it in a minute but watching that funny pasta being cooked was the top pleasure of that wednesday night.
